CMCT started working in this community about ten years ago and has seen wonderful transformation.
When CMCT started working there they found some families sleeping on the street and many young children wandering around with no proper care or supervision. Only 10% of the children were in school.
Now most of the children are in school. Some are sponsored and in CMCT schools.
Education, nutrition and support will forever change a community.
Two of the girls from here, who have been sponsored through CMCT, have now begun studying at a Nursing College (October 2021).
Beside the social workers who visit daily and help at the soup kitchens, two evening tuition classes are held to help the children in their studies and teach them values.
